Chakras are centers of whirling concentrated subtle energies.

There are three currents, which are called nadis in Sanscrit.

Briefly about the 'chakras'
Chakras are energy centers in the body that are believed to be associated with various physical, emotional, and spiritual functions.

7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara):

These problems occur as a result of unreleased emotions, emotional crisis situations, stress or emotional stasis, or worse, sexual stasis.

In the case of such an energy imbalance, the chakras have a tendency to close down.
